About Me

I love history, grew up hearing about all of Vincennes history from my

grandmother Joy Decker. I am related to the Deckers of Vincennes.

My mother is Susan Decker Parker. Love the history of Vincennes and

educate people about Knox County and surprising how little most people

know the significance of this part of the country to our American History.

About Me

My father was in the Air Force and served during Korea, his stories have started me down a path to learning about our military history. For the past five years I have traveled to many states documenting Army Tanks on display and various Veterans memorials. This is how I ran across the Indiana Military Museum.

About Me

I have been a collector for about 20 years.  Mostly the second world war and American and British items.  I was a volunteer at the Cincinnati Museum center for living history weekend for over 10 years.  I usually speak to historical societies about my collection but have been asked to speak at universities and boy scout organizations.  I have enjoyed collecting it has brought a better appreciation not only for freedom but for the sacrifice as well.  I've been fortunate to meet many veterans famous and just your average cook but they are all heroes to me.  Always looking for new ideas on displaying and upcoming events.
