Fighter Ace Frank Klibbe
This is the leather Royal Air Force (RAF) flight helmet worn by American Ace Frank Klibbe during WW II. Klibbe was credited with 7 German aircraft downed while flying his P-47 for the 56th Fighter Group. Kilbbe is from Anderson, Indiana and named his aircraft "Little Chief" after his high school ball team The Chiefs.
